This statement can be taken by you many ways. First off, I am writing this at 9:00AM on a Saturday morning, so Good Morning, people! Second, some individuals are "Morning People," and others are definitely not. Comma placement becomes critical. For the non-morning people, I'd guess they default to being Night Owls? Has there ever been an Afternoon Warrior? Someone must coin a phrase to identify these people that thrive in the afternoons, besides calling those people "Mankind!" Mid-day Marauders? High Noon Showdowners? Brunch Enthusiasts? Daylight Diehards? Afternoon Actioners? Day People? No matter. I fall into the Morning Person category. It seems much more productive to me to get out of bed and do things before the hour hand on my clock points to anything beginning with the number 1.
I refuse to do lazy Saturday or Sunday mornings. I'd rather do pushups, situps, run or read. What's the point of a lazy day anyway? So one can sloth around and waste their life away? No, thanks. If you are lucky enough, life can be a long road. I'd like to be outside experiencing while I am able to. I don't think a Rothschild takes a lazy Saturday. I don't think Henry Ford took a lazy day. I didn't see Malcolm X trudging around in a bathrobe while the sun was shining. The same can't be said of the Dalai Lama, but that goes with the territory for him. I also wouldn't categorize him as lazy in any sense of the word. I also had to Google search the term "Dalai Lama, or else you would have read "Dali Lama." Thanks, Google impromptu spell-checker of my life. You've helped me avoid many a grammatical hazard through the years.
If you would not characterize yourself as a morning person, but rather a Night Owl......party on. Get stuff done. That's all I can say. To all of you Mid-Day Marauders/Afternoon Actioners, of which I believe I double as, accomplish. Achieve goals, work towards personal success and try, at least a few times a month, to withstand snoozing the alarm clock in the AM sometime. You'd be amazed at what can get done when your eyes are fully open.
