Day 3 was a pretty good day for progress. I kept to the plan and did well.
In the morning, I went boxing with my good friends, and did very well. I miss boxing on a regular basis. I feel shitty telling people that I haven't fought in a while. I know why I don't though, so that's all that matters really. So, I boxed, did a few ab exercises, and then had lunch. I then went and got a haircut. My stylist is really nice, and we try new stuff with my hair a lot. She likes doing that, as it let's her "play" a bit, creatively. I don't mind, as I must learn to welcome change into my life. So, I have to an extent.
I shopped around for some t-shirts to style in my "own creative way." I didn't buy anything though. When I got home, I styled two shirts that I had previously purchased for it. They look pretty good. All are a work in progress, as I need to evolve the style by learning how to sew, so I can make the shirts/sweaters look more professional-for-purchase. The main thing I aimed to do is keep mentally active with it all, so that I am not just sitting around vegging out on youtube.
In the evening, I went to an amateur boxing show in Poughkeepsie. The fights were of very good quality. I enjoyed them. Watching boxing always brings back the itch to compete. I am certain I will scratch that itch at some point over the course of the next year. Just not right this second. I have other things that I must focus my attention on. It was good to see my cornerman there as well. He truly is a student of the game.
After the boxing event, I went out with my friend to a waterfront bar. There were a good amount of people out, so it was a good energy to be around.
Today brings pushups, a workout of some sort (gym or running), then a softball game at 2pm. After that, I will buy some more shirts to style. I also have to go through clothes and organize my stuff. Get my house in order, so to speak. I am going to read, then do some online work. I always want to be doing something, from here on out.
